District #118 is excited to announce a partnership with the Belleville Farmer’s Market that can raise thousands of dollars for our schools while promoting healthy eating habits for our kids. The first program of its kind, Farmer’s 4 Education makes it easy for you to raise much needed funds for your school while shopping for the fresh fruits and vegetables you and your kids love. Unlike other fundraising efforts, Farmer’s 4 Education requires no advance payments, no deliveries, and no selling of any kind!

How does it work?
Present your card at either Farmer’s Market location every time you make a purchase. Nothing is excluded. All of the fresh fruit, vegetables, plants, meats, and lawn ornaments sold at Farmer’s Market earn cash back for your School! When paying for your purchase, remember to give your Farmer’s 4 Education card to the clerk and tell them the name of your school. They’ll swipe your card and give you a receipt indicating that your dollars have been added to the school’s total for the month.

How do I sign-up?
Enrolling in the program is quick and simple. Your card is attached above. Just go to www.farmers4education.com and click the “Enroll Now!” button. Fill out the form with your name, date of birth, email address, and the school you want your reward dollars to benefit. Lastly, enter the card number found on the back of your Farmer’s 4 Education card. Click “Enroll Me!” and you’re ready to start earning cash back for your school.

How much money can we earn?
This is why we’re so excited about the Farmer’s 4 Education program. Unlike spending based programs that offer a small reward based on spending large amounts of money, this fundraiser allows us to earn up to 10% cash back! Best of all, the reward isn’t tied to how much money we spend. Instead, this program scales the rewards higher based on how many cardholders your school has enrolled in the program:

001-200 enrolled cards = 5% cash back
201-300 enrolled cards = 6% cash back
301-400 enrolled cards = 7% cash back
401-500 enrolled cards = 8% cash back
501-600 enrolled cards = 9% cash back
601& up enrolled cards = 10% cash back

How can I see how much my school has earned?
The school’s earnings will add up fast as more people join the program. Here’s an example, if your school has 300 cards enrolled and the average purchases per card are $50/month, the school will get a check for $900.00 at the end of the month ($15,000 x 6%=$900). When your school has 500 cards enrolled spending an average of $50/month, that same check would grow to $2,000 ($25,000 x 8%=$2,000)! You’ll be able to track your school’s rewards dollars in real time by visiting www.farmers4education.com. Use the handy “Reward Calculator” to see just how much of your purchase goes back to your school.

What else can I expect?
There will be frequent email dispatches to cardholders to announce rewards bonus days and special events as they occur. The school’s cardholders will be notified of the opportunity to earn double rewards on selected days. When you shop on a double rewards day, your $10 purchase would be swiped as $20 on your Farmer’s 4 Education card! Remember that Farmer’s Market will have cards available in their stores as well. Tell your friends, grandparents, aunts and uncles to stop by and enroll in-store to support your child’s education!
