Homegrown Corn coming soon…

What an awesome shot of our Homegrown Corn with the American Flag in the background!  Thanks to our corn grower, Meyer Farm in Collinsville, IL for the photo!

We have a winner(s)!!

Well that was a first…two guys showed up at EXACTLY the same time!!  One actually made a Cardinals shirt by writing “CARDINALS” on his T-Shirt with a Red Sharpie.  That certainly earns tickets for creativity.  They both knew that we sent $923.44 to Belleville schools in the month of May.  We settled the tie by doing our best King Solomon impersonation – they split the tickets right down the middle.  Stay tuned for more ticket giveaways from Farmer’s Market!

Here are your instructions…

There are 4 tickets in the FIRST ROW of the Redbird Club on the line here so make sure you follow the directions explicitely.  The FIRST person to arrive at our North Belt location and complete the list below will be enjoying a night at Busch Stadium on us!

1) Put on at least one piece of Cardinal clothing.  It can be a shirt, jersey, hat, whatever.  As long as it says “Cardinals”

2) Arrive at our North Belt location and shout “I Love Farmer’s Market!”

3) Lastly you have to tell us (to the penny) how much money Farmer’s Market sent to Belleville schools through Farmer’s 4 Education in the month of May.  The information is on this page you’ll just have to find it.

If you’ve had our tickets in the last 30 days, please refrain from playing so others can have a chance.  Thanks, good luck, and drive safe please!

Watch this space at 3pm!

Be ready at 3pm sharp because we usually have a winner in minutes.    Oh, and here’s one more hint…you might want to familiarize yourself with some of the data from May’s Farmer’s 4 Education payout.  There may be a quiz :)

Sing it loud and proud!

So we’ve got over $200 worth of Cardinals tickets (4 seats in the 1st row of the Redbird Club) just waiting for someone to come win tonight.  It’s a really gorgeous night and we’d really like to go to the game but the Boss says to give them away.  We’re not happy about missing the game so if you want the tickets, you’re going to have to earn them :)

The first person (of any age – it doesn’t have to be a kid tonight) who shows up at our North Belt location and follows these directions will get the tickets:

1) Enter the building shouting “I LOVE FARMER’S MARKET!”

2) You must be wearing some sort of Cardinals gear (shirt, jersey, hat, etc)

3) After you’ve proclaimed your affection for Farmer’s Market you must sing “Take me out to the Ballgame!”  You can’t whisper or mumble your way through it.  It has to be sung with “feeling.”  We’re not nearly as judgmental as Simon Cowell so don’t worry about how you sound.

4) You must give us your permission to record your performance and publish it to our website, our Veg-Email, YouTube, or anywhere else we see fit to thoroughly embarrass you.

Remember, it’s the first person to complete these steps at our North Belt location.  If you’re not the first person – we’ll certainly tell you before you start singing so you don’t humiliate yourself for nothing.  NOT! :)
